Waitlist version 2026-09-19

PLACEHOLDER. This page describes what the waitlist actually does today and is written to be accurate, but it has not been reviewed by counsel. Replace this block and confirm the text before launch.

What we collect

Only what the form asks for, plus two things the network tells us:

We do not store your IP address in our database, and we do not set advertising cookies or sell anything to advertisers.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics to count page views and see which pages people arrive on. It sets cookies in your browser and sends Google your IP address, which Google uses to place you in a country or region and does not give back to us. We see visit counts and page paths. We cannot see who you are from it, and we do not connect it to the address you put in the form.

PLACEHOLDER: if you are in the EU or UK, the law generally wants your consent before these cookies are set, and this site does not ask yet. Decide with counsel whether to add a consent banner or to turn analytics off for those visitors before launch.

Your browser’s Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control setting, an ad blocker, or Google’s own opt-out add-on will all stop it. Nothing on this site breaks if you block it.

Why we collect it

To tell you when Meanwhile opens where you are, and to decide which neighborhood to open next. Meanwhile launches one dense area at a time, so where you are is the single most useful thing you can tell us.

Who else sees it

We do not sell this data, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.

How long we keep it

PLACEHOLDER: state the retention period once decided.

Getting it deleted

Every email we send carries a one-click unsubscribe, which stops the mail. To have the record deleted outright, write to [PRIVACY CONTACT ADDRESS] and we will remove it.

Your referral link

Confirming your address gets you a personal link. If someone joins with it, we store the code they arrived with so we know the two of you are connected — that is the only thing it records, and neither of you sees the other’s address.
